Coun. Marvin Santos grants gift packs to LSEN
Heartfelt joy and gladness are magnified in the faces of the Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN) after receiving gifts from Coun. Marvin Santos. Twenty four LSENs are the recipients of the Special Need Assistance Project (SNAP) spearheaded by Councilor Santos.
SNAP aims to provide help and assistance in the therapy and rehabilitation sessions of the children with disabilities residing in Paranaque City. This also opens opportunity for the recipients to undergo diagnosis/assessment, therapy, and skills training for free.
To add, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Center for Children with Special Needs held last May 24 at the former Special Science High School located at Brgy. Sto. Nino, District 1 was made possible thru the effort of Councilor Santos. The significant event was graced by Hon. Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez, Hon. Congressman Eric L. Olivarez, Hon. Vice Mayor Rico T. Golez, Hon. Coun. Marvin Santos with the other Hon. City Councilors, and Hon. Barangay Council of Sto. Nino. The center provides hope to the learners, parents, and teachers.
This project was initiated by Councilor Santos and with the selfless support of Mayor Edwin Olivarez.
Learners with Special Educational Needs, parents, and staff of San Agustin Elementary School express their deepest gratitude to Coun. Santos for his unwavering and magnanimous support. Mabuhay po kayo Coun. Marvin Santos!
