INSTITUTIONAL SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENT

1. EBEIS Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS) – A web-based management information system that aims to achieve the following objectives:

· improve the collection of data from the schools and field offices and efficiently render delivery of data/information to various stakeholders

· support information requirements for planning, quality assurance, monitoring & evaluation and other decision-making activities

· provide a venue for sharing, using and reusing knowledge within DepED through increasing access to information.

2.  Learner Information (LIS) – A system for maintaining the registry of learners aimed at meeting the following objectives:

· Provide a standardized registration system for learners

· Track learner progress/performance

· Provide learner information for better program planning and supervision of schools and learning centers

· Enhance management of learners record

3.  Learning Resource Management and Development System (LRMDS)

Learning Resource Management and Development System or LRMDS is the DepED’s answer to the chronic lack of materials for teachers and learners.  It is an adaptive learning resource system that functions to develop and distribute adequate and varied learning resources in basic education to teachers and learners from both the formal basic education and ALS systems. It also provides the mechanism to support coordinated and integrated access to quality resources.  Its Portal allows users of the system to access and download digitized versions of resources stored in the LRMDS repository.
