Rotary Club of Business and Servant Leaders – GLOBAL Honors SPED Learners in National Children’s Day Celebration
San Agustin Elementary School, July 30, 2025 — The Rotary Club of Business and Servant Leaders – GLOBAL marked this year’s National Children’s Day with a meaningful celebration dedicated to 150 Special Education (SPED) learners. The event was held in conjunction with the observance of the 47th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week, with the theme “Innovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities Together.”
In a joint effort to promote inclusivity and uplift children with special needs, Rotary members and school partners came together for a morning of joy, recognition, and community spirit. The event took place at San Agustin Elementary School, where learners were treated to a program filled with engaging activities and affirming messages.
As part of the Rotary’s commitment to service and support, the organization also distributed school supplies and food snacks to all SPED learners in attendance. These tokens aimed to provide practical help and inspire the children as they prepare for the new school year.
The celebration was more than just an event—it was a call for unity and a demonstration of what it means to be People of Action. By empowering children with special needs and building inclusive communities, the Rotary Club continues to lead by example in creating a more compassionate and accessible society for all.
